All Saints Chillenden - Parish Safeguarding

The Parish of All Saints Chillenden has formally adopted the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policy. This was approved at the meeting of the PCC on 7 November 2024.

All members of the PCC will undertake basic safeguarding awareness training. Officers or members with specific responsibilities will undertake further training as appropriate
All Saints Chillenden is committed to:

Promoting a safer environment and culture
Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults
Responding promptly to event safeguarding concern or allegation
Caring pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse or other affected persons
Responding to those that may pose a present risk
